Ancestors
When we were in America, Elyot's great aunt Kay mentioned that Elyot looks a lot like Mama did as a baby. We decided to check it out.

First Time at NaMe and Grandaddy's Work
Elyot had a nice time going to SAU for the time to see where NaMe and Grandaddy work. We started off at NaMe's building...
...then Grandaddy carried Elyot to see more people on campus.
On another day we met a bunch of folks in Grandaddy's building...
...and spent some time in his office.
All of this work stuff = very tiring! Elyot ended his 2nd visit with a long nap with a new friend from the campus bookshop.

New Skills!
Elyot has mastered picked up so many new skills during our US visit! He's really started to reach out and grasp toys... 
and pull himself forward in his high chair to get to them.

Meeting Jerry and Kay
Elyot got to meet his Aunt Kay and Uncle Jerry for the very first time while we were in the US.
They brought him a sweet kitty; we reckon it will be just as popular as Jackson's beloved leopard, which they got him around the same age as Elyot, has been.

Elyot really enjoyed taking baths in America using NaMe and Grandaddy's neat sink-tub.
Grandaddy helped Mama give the baths.
Sometimes NaMe and Jackson stopped by after a shower to help out.

Elyot's First Flight
Elyot took his first flight to the US on January 7th.
We flew back with Chris and Anne all the way to LA. It was great to have some help from them and Jackson enroute, though Elyot was a pretty happy chappy.
NaMe and Grandaddy were waiting in LA to help us fly on Elyot's 2nd and 3rd flights. We had a nice dinner and rest.
Having them around made it a lot easier, especially since Grandaddy is so soporific!

New Friends
Every week Elyot seems to meet someone new! He loved meeting Chris and Anne over the Xmas holidays (and going with them and Mama to Healesville while Jackson stayed home sick with Daddy).

Elyot's First Great Ocean Road Trip
When Chris and Anne were here, we all went to the Great Ocean Road. Elyot got his first sunburn after 30 seconds on the beach at Lorne.
He went on a hike with Mama, Daddy, and Jackson
And he even got to go yabbying in the pond at the neat country property we stayed at.

Elyot's 1st Christmas!
